It's the work of Artichoke Bliss, a grassroots collective of volunteers investing the love and energy that can transform a derelict lot into a growing space. Here's a nice little summary of what they are doing over at the blog, Our Green Atlanta. Have a look at their Facebook page for all the details. You might find yourself joining in.
wine dinner
Canapés of Pumpkin, Pesto & Zucchini on Red Sorrel Leaves, from the Atlanta Vieilles Vignes Wine Dinner here on Wednesday. Click here for a look at Rowdy's montage from the evening.
mia merlin
The artist with one of her paintings, from a Super 8 film-still of a child's birthday party.
Mia Merlin's gorgeous paintings are up in the shop. David chose pieces from different periods spanning the last ten years, so there's a pleasing variety. Some color on the walls makes a stimulating change.
